What happens after you ask for a quote
Beef, sheep, grain, dairy, poultry and lucerne country — the loads out here look nothing like a suburban home
Pumping is usually the single biggest line on a rural bill, and it runs in daylight — which is exactly when solar produces. We size the array around your pump duty cycle rather than around your house.
Machinery sheds, milking plant, cool rooms and chillers draw hard and often run on three-phase. We install across single and three-phase supplies and can meter the shed separately from the house.
Long driveways, multiple meters, older switchboards and a homestead running air-con through a Tamworth summer. We assess the whole property in one visit instead of quoting a single roof.

Tamworth, Moonbi, Manilla, Barraba, Gunnedah, Nundle, Quirindi and out through the New England North West. Distance and a long driveway are not a problem — we assess the whole site in person.
Plenty of rural properties run three-phase to the shed, dairy or pump. We design and commission across both supply types instead of walking away from the harder jobs.
Eligible federal battery support is usually passed on as an upfront discount, and we lodge the paperwork on your behalf. Any eligible amount is shown in writing on your quote before you commit.
Tamworth gets strong year-round sun, and summer output runs well above winter. We size around when your pumps, chillers and air-con actually run, not a generic house profile.
Every installation is done by our own licensed electricians — never subcontractors. You deal with us from first call to final sign-off.
Rural feeders take longer to restore after storms and bushfire season. With a backup-capable design, nominated essentials such as a pump, freezer or selected house circuits can stay on during an outage, within the battery's capacity. We scope which circuits are covered before you decide.

Eligible Incentives Explained
See our rebates page for current program details.
Eligible federal battery support is usually passed on as an upfront discount on your quote. Homes across Tamworth and the New England North West can access the same national solar STC and Cheaper Home Batteries support as anywhere else, subject to the system and program rules. Sheds and pumps on the same property can often be included in one design, and we confirm what is eligible before you commit.
Two minutes. Your quarterly bill, whether it is a house, farm or shed, and what you want the system to do.
We come out to the property, check the switchboard, supply type and roof or ground space, and look at the loads that matter.
You get a written design with the federal incentive already applied to the price. We lodge the paperwork for you.
Our own licensed electricians install, commission and hand over — including monitoring set up on your phone.

Tamworth is the processing centre for the North West Slopes, and the properties around it run on beef, sheep, grain, dairy, poultry and lucerne. We work across that country — town homes, lifestyle blocks, working farms and the sheds behind them.
Not on the list? Give us a call and we will let you know whether we can service your property.
Yes. Sheds, dairies, workshops, cool rooms and pump supplies are a normal part of what we design for out here. If the shed is on a separate meter or a three-phase supply we account for that in the design, and where it makes sense we quote the house and the shed as one system rather than two disconnected jobs.
It depends on the pump. Pump starting current and duty cycle matter far more than the badge on the battery, so this is something we measure rather than guess. On many properties the smarter answer is a larger array that runs the pump directly during the day, with the battery covering the house and essential circuits. We will tell you honestly what your pump will and will not do on battery before you commit.
Yes. Plenty of rural properties around Tamworth run three-phase to the shed, dairy or pump shed. We design and commission across both single and three-phase supplies.
A battery with backup can keep nominated circuits running during an outage, which matters on rural feeders where restoration takes longer after storms. Essential Energy responded to more than 30,000 unplanned outages across its network in 2024-25. How long your backup lasts depends on the battery size and what you put on it, so we scope which circuits are covered as part of the design rather than making a blanket promise.
Yes. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program is national, so eligible homes in Tamworth and the surrounding New England North West can access it, and eligible solar systems may also attract STC support. Support is usually passed on as an upfront discount; we lodge the paperwork and show any eligible amount on your written quote.
Tamworth has a strong solar climate, with high summer output and good winter sun. Because the hot months that drive up bills are also the strongest generation months, the timing often works in your favour, particularly where pumps and cooling run through the middle of the day. We size the system around your actual loads rather than a generic profile.
We service Tamworth and the surrounding district including Moonbi, Kootingal, Manilla, Barraba, Nundle, Quirindi, Gunnedah and out through the New England North West. If you are unsure whether you are in range, call us and we will confirm whether we can service your property.
Ausave sells and installs Sigenergy batteries, inverters and EV chargers exclusively. We are a Sigenergy Gold Installer; our SAA-accredited in-house electrical crews install and commission the system.
Yes. The site visit and written quote cost nothing and there is no obligation to proceed. If the numbers do not work for your property, we would rather tell you that than sell you a system.
Tell us about the house, the shed and the pumps. Our team can discuss your property, confirm the details and arrange a site visit when convenient.
