Federal Battery Incentive — How It Works
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program can reduce the cost of an eligible battery, usually as an upfront discount on your quote. The support rate is set by your installation date and is scheduled to reduce from 1 January 2027.
What Is the Rebate?
Eligible households can receive federal support for a listed home battery, generally passed on as an upfront discount on your quote. Eligible solar panels may also attract separate STC support.
When Does It Change?
The support rate is based on the date your battery is installed, not when you enquire or sign. Under the current program schedule the certificate factor reduces from 1 January 2027, so systems installed in 2026 use the current rate.
What to Expect
After you submit your quote request, our team will visit your property, assess your roof, switchboard, and energy usage, then design a system around your needs and any eligible incentives. Once you approve the design, we handle the incentive paperwork and network connection steps.
