This is an estimate before administration fees, not your final quote or a guaranteed discount. Actual savings depend on the approved model, usable capacity, eligibility and certificate treatment at installation.
How this estimate works: The 2026 factor is 6.8 certificates per weighted usable kWh. Each size band is combined, the total STCs are rounded down, and the gross value uses the $40 clearing-house price (a cap excluding GST; open-market prices are often lower). Only the first 50 kWh of usable capacity earns certificates; batteries up to 100 kWh nominal may still be eligible. The program’s 5 kWh minimum is nominal capacity: if your eligible model has less than 5 kWh usable, ask us for its exact estimate. The rate is set by the battery's installation date and changes from 1 January 2027.
